lock that Christina Garay was raving about when she
excitedly announced on national TV -
"... and I open the door with my fingerprint!."
What a moment it was for all of us. Her joy and
amazement at this very small thing was very evident.
"We
were on a family vacation at Disneyland in Los
Angeles when I received a call from the shows
producer saying they were working on a home for a
needy family in East LA. She asked if we could
get her one of our locks. Since we were in the
area, I had one flown down overnight from our office
in Seattle and we delivered it to the job site at
the Garay home.
I
personally believe that everything happens for a
reason, and that we were meant to be there at that
time and place. We delivered our BioCert® door
lock the next day and the design team set it up
right away. It was amazing to see the builders
and the designers at work. Efficiency is
not a powerful enough word to describe how well this
team works.
My
daughter and her cousin were so excited to actually
meet Ty Pennington in person. Ty, the Design
team, and the crew of the show are absolutely
fabulous and are all first rate folks with a gentle
spirit and giving heart. I am proud that we
were able to make a difference for the Garay family
and that our simple little product made such an
impact on this girls' life.
Quite frankly, I was humbled by the way the entire
community came together to help such a needy family.
We are proud to support this worthy cause and
congratulate the Garay family on their spirit,
